In accordance with the Discipline, the Department of Christian Education is responsible for "Developing standards, preparing programs, offering classes, teaching Christian education, publishing material, training people for pastoral ministry and other church vocations".

At Bethel, we offer Church School, Membership Development classes, YPD, Homework Center, Liturgical Dancing and Pastor Bible Study, just name a few activities. We have different ministries to address the needs of the community at hand.

We want all our members here at Bethel to develop and have a well-rounded understanding of who and what the AME Doctrine and History is all about. Our ultimate goal in the the Department of Christian Education, is to help each and every individual develop a closer relationship with God.
